Reviews
“Albert Guinovart is a real blessing for the musical culture of this country. Integral musician, excellent pianist and prolific and inspired composer. A composer who, without ever renouncing technical rigor, experimentation and musical quality, makes a close, intelligible and highly stimulating music”
Xavier Chavarria, “Revista Musical Catalana” Spain
“The homages to Edith Piaf and Schubert (both from Poulenc) allowed to show Guinovart's talent as a pianist before his refined version of Mendelssohn’s “Rondo capriccioso”.
César López Rosell, “Periódico de Catalunya” Newspaper
“One of the most prestigious European pianists of his generation, as well as a pedagogue and prolific composer”
“All-enveloping tonal music, with great coloristic expressivity. With influences from Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninov, as well as Jazzistic features, all under the melodic invention and the emotional sentimentality of a flawless and refined technique. Musical beauty in pure state.”
Luis Suarez, “ Revista Ritmo” Spain
“The essence of Albert Guinovart's music, fully melodic and with great pianistic virtuosity, is presented in "Nocturne" with a constellation of twelve titles that show his musical chiaroscuro, from his dreamy lyricism to the energetic and triumphant spirit characteristic of his works”
